Hidden River is a private farm and a great wedding reception spot, just down the country road from the grand Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina
Sarah and Drew had a down home country wedding in the Great Smoky mountain region of western North Carolina. This was a destination wedding for the couple as currently live in Hawaii but Sarah’s family live in the Appalachian Mountain region. They decided to have their wedding in a lovely stone chapel in Lake Junaluska Memorial Chapel where Sarah used to attend church programs in the summers. The reception was held an hour away on a lovely private farm of Hidden River Events site in the Asheville area, not far from the historic Biltmore estate. The couple came in on a horse-drawn carriage to make a dramatic entrance, but the rest of the reception was down-home country style: a pig roast, watermelon, soul food and lots of country dancing.
