Lara attended the Bay Area Wedding Network (BAWN) wedding show at the Golden Gate Club a few month ago and won a wedding photography engagement session with me! They came down all the way from Sacramento for the shoot, and they really wanted the Golden Gate bridge in the backdrop as Chris (her fiance) proposed there last year. The tide was coming fast in so we did the rest of the photo shoot near Crissy Field as the sun set behind them. I like the dark black-and-white images in contrast to the sunny colorful ones on the beach, and we had a lot of fun with the blanket I covered them to keep warm. As Mark Twain said, “the coldest winter I ever spent was the summer in San Francisco.”
